Mini Junk Drawer

Just wanted to get out a couple of quick notes before things get absolutely crazy around here tonight…

First off… I know you know that it isn't enough, but I will always take any interaction with you. I mean… my heart rate goes up even just seeing your car drive by (and if you think I'm kidding… just know I've been tracking my heart rate during those jogs for a few years now…).

Anyways… it was nice seeing you this afternoon, even if only for a moment. I will always take anything I can get. Always.

An event like the one I'm attending tonight would be so much fun with you, I just know it. I can't wait to get to attend one with you one day. In the meantime, I guess this one will be fine… though mostly because one of the hosts collects extremely old, extremely rare, extremely expensive bottles of bourbon… and shares them while telling a story behind the bottle. He's given me bourbon that was found inside the walls of a building alongside a pile of tommy guns… bourbon from bottles found in a crate in the darkest corner of a storm cellar in newly-purchased very-old house…

I guess I do like that part very much, lol.

I guess tomorrow was already looking pretty sketch… I'm just going to go ahead and write it off… alas. Maybe I'll be surprised, but all signs point to “no”. Ah, well. Tuesday. Maybe. 🤞 Just wish it wasn't going to be so cold…
